Different Seasons by Stephen King is a collection of four novellas. The Shawshank Redemption was adapted into the film The Shawshank Redemption. The Body was adapted into the film Stand by Me. Apt Pupil was adapted into the film Apt Pupil. The Breathing Method has not been adapted yet. None of the stories are horror, fantasy, or science fiction. All of them are great.
